Collage of Nursery Rhyme silhouettes 3 tone

I recreated classic nursery rhyme art from an old set of children’s building blocks. I have made a collection of ten different rhyme illustrations to choose from. All of them are paper cuttings based on my original hand cut silhouettes of the classic rhymes. The silhouettes I made are all inspired from an antique block set.

I am so pleased with how these look! Visitors to my studio always comment on these as I have them proudly displayed on my wall. I love how they have a soft whispered look in soothing gray tones. The neutral palette makes it work with any decor. I think they look especially good in a minimalist style or a farm home style theme.

You may choose whichever rhyme art you like and I will “print” cuttings from the template of my own previous hand cut versions of these illustrations. Each rhyme theme has two illustration/cuttings. I will tack down the die cut 12×12″ scenes and mount them with thick mounting square designed to lift and layer the illustrations with thick adhesive squares for depth and shadow. The top level will be white. The layer below that will be medium gray. The bottom layer will be dark gray.

I will then frame the three tone collage into the 12×12″ collage frame ready for hanging on a well.
